Ecology’s Air Quality Program is renewing the Air Operating Permit (AOP) for Gas Transmission Northwest, Natural Gas Compressor Station #8. GTN is located at 638 Lambdin Road, three miles east of Wallula Junction on U.S. Hwy. 12, near Wallula in Walla Walla County, and has a corporate address of 201 W. North River Drive, Suite 505, Spokane, WA 99201. We expect to approve the draft renewal permit and will accept written comments on this action through Sept. 24, 2020.
The emission units at the facility are three natural gas fired turbines used to impart energy to the natural gas pipeline and an emergency generator powered by natural gas. There are no new emission sources or increases in emissions from the facility's previous AOP.
