Climate Commitment Act (Section 47)

As the Climate Commitment Act is implemented, Ecology is holding a stakeholder meeting to get feedback before developing recommendations for how to assist households that use heating sources other than electricity and natural gas (including fuel oil or propane).

In 2021, the Washington Legislature passed the Climate Commitment Act (or CCA) which establishes a comprehensive program to reduce carbon pollution and to achieve greenhouse gas limits set in state law.
