Boeing Everett – Proposed permit amendment

Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permit

March 17, 2021 - April 16, 2021, 11:59 p.m.

Ecology proposes to amend Boeing Everett's Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permit.

The Boeing Everett facility manufactures commercial aircraft, specifically models 747, 767, 777, and 787. Boeing Everett asked to change its Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) Permit for the 777X project. Boeing proposes to establish a higher limit for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) for the 777X wing components fabrication operations during low production periods.
