Site background
Boeing has operated this facility since the 1960s, conducting research and development, primarily for the Department of Defense. They also manufacture electrical components and perform metal milling, finishing and plating, and photographic processing here. These activities led to contaminated soil and groundwater.
In 2022, Boeing signed an Agreed Order (AO) that requires them to conduct a Remedial Investigation (RI) and do a focused Feasibility Study about the arsenic-contaminated groundwater on-site and whether institutional controls for the property are required.
- Contamination at this site is relatively low.
- Groundwater at this site is not used for drinking water, therefore it does not currently threaten human health.
