We are undergoing rulemaking for new state requirements that some producers use a minimum amount of recycled content in their products.

Ecology is developing a new rule, Chapter 173-925 Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Postconsumer Recycled Content in Plastic Containers. The rule will take effect in January 2024.
