Feb. 14, 2018 - Mar. 15, 2018

The following plan is now available for public review:
Navy Region Northwest

Specific changes:
  • Wildlife response contractor has changed from National Response Corporation Environmental Services to Focus Wildlife
Ecology invites the public and local and tribal governments to review and comment on oil spill contingency plan updates. Washington Administrative Code (WAC) chapters 173-182 and 173-186 require oil handling facilities, pipelines, vessels, and railroads to have a state-approved oil spill contingency plan that ensures their ability to respond to major oil spills. Plan holders are required to submit changes to Ecology and updates may require a 30 day public review of the updates (Chapter 173-182-142 WAC).
