We invite you to review and comment on the draft periodic review report, which includes the results of our site condition review to ensure cleanup is still protective.
Prior to cleanup and redevelopment into multi-familty housing, the site was part of a military reservation, then became a gun range, and finally a convent. An unlined, undocumented landfill containing construction and household debris is also on-site.
From some of these prior uses, soil was contaminated with diesel, oil, lead, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and methylene chloride. Contaminated soil was excavated and taken to a landfill. Remaining contaminted soil was capped.
We visited the site on April 12, 2023, and found the cleanup actions continue to protect people and the environment.
