Agreed Order and Public Participation Plan ready for public comment

We invite you to comment on a legal agreement requiring contamination cleanup at this site.

Agreed Order: A legal agreement between Ecology and Bridgepoint Seattle 130 LLC, a potentially liable person, requiring Bridgepoint to investigate and clean up contamination the site.

Public Participation Plan: A document explaining how people can participate in the cleanup process.

The Dawn Food Products cleanup site is next to the Duwamish River in South Seattle. Historicaly, activities including ship building, sheet metal fabrication, and generator manufacturing contaminated soil and groundwater.

The following types of contaminants were found to exceed minimum allowed levels under MTCA:

Metals
total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) from gasoline
Carcinogenic Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (cPAHs)
halogenated solvents
