The Stakeholder & Tribal Advisory Group (STAG) for the Cleanup Rule Update is made up of 20-25 representatives of key stakeholders and tribal interests who have practical experience with contaminated site cleanups in Washington state. The group will advise Ecology as we update the Cleanup Rule in a series of three planned rulemakings over several years. STAG meetings are open to the public, with time set aside for public comments at each meeting. Observers are welcome and will be afforded an opportunity to speak during the 30 minute public comment period. Other than the comment period, observers cannot participate in the deliberation of the group.
For the first rulemaking, there will be five STAG meetings, all of which will be at the Embassy Suites in Bellevue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
