ExxonMobil ADC cleanup, Everett

Ecology invites you to review and comment on the following documents:

• Draft Interim Action Work Plan: this describes the remediation work that will occur at the site, which includes excavating contaminated soil and installing a permanent barrier wall.
• Agreed Order Amendment: a legal agreement that delays approval of a Draft Cleanup Action Plan until the activities identified in the Draft Interim Action Work Plan are completed.
• State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Determination of Non-Significance: this explains Ecology's decision that the activities outlined in the interim work plan are not likely to harm the environment.
• Draft Public Participation Plan: This is an updated draft that describes how the public can provide input on plans for cleanup.

At the end of the comment period, we will consider all comments recieved and may change the content of these documents before finalizing them.

The ExxonMobil ADC site was a bulk petroleum storage and distribution facility near the Everett Waterfront. Some cleanup has been done, but further investigations found petroleum-related contaminants in the soil and groundwater.
