The Boise White Paper pulp and paper mill in Wallula submitted applications requesting to modify two pieces of equipment that produce air pollutants - #3 Paper Machine and #2 M&D Digester. These are called air emission units.
The proposed project will allow the mill to increase production at the paper machine from 800 machine-dried tons of unbleached linerboard each day to 1,400 machine-dried tons (annual average), with a maximum daily production capacity of 1,680 machine-dried tons. It will also increase the pulping capacity of the digester.
Visit our Boise Wallula webpage for more information on the project, including links to the documents to review.
