Hydro Battery Pearl Hill Application

401 Water Quality Certifications

November 22, 2018 - December 31, 2019

Shell Energy has requested a Section 401 Water Quality Certification for a final FERC license application for the proposed Hydro Battery Pearl Hill Project. The proposed project is located in Douglas County on the south bank of the Columbia River between river miles 552 and 553.

We work with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licensing process for hydropower dams. When an applicant requests a license, for an existing dam or for new construction, we ensure state water quality standards can be met. See our 401 certifications for hydropower webpage for more information.
