During this webinar, we will present:

  • Reasons for revising the freshwater dissolved oxygen criteria and adding a new fine sediment criterion
  • Preliminary draft rule changes
  • The science behind the preliminary decisions for this rule
  • A review of the rulemaking timeline and next steps

This rulemaking would adopt amendments to chapter 173-201A WAC Water Quality Standards for Surface Waters of the State of Washington. We are considering changes to the freshwater dissolved oxygen criteria and creating new fine sediment criteria.
