We invite your comments on draft permit being reissued to the City of Cashmere wastewater treatment plant.

The permit (No. WA0023183) authorizes the discharge of treated domestic wastewater to the Wenatchee River at River Mile 8.6 from its facility located at 2 Riverfront Drive, Cashmere, WA.

View the draft documents for the City of Cashmere in our Water Quality Permitting and Reporting Information System (PARIS) database.

We regulate wastewater released from municipalities and industries using the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Wastewater Discharge Permit. This permit regulates wastewater that goes directly into lakes, rivers, Puget Sound, or the ocean (surface water). All wastewater must be treated before it goes into surface water to protect human health and aquatic life.
