Dec. 2, 2019 - Jan. 1, 2020, 11:59 p.m.

We invite your comments on reissuing the draft permits for Troutlodge, Inc., for TroutCo Clear Creek Hatchery - Permit No. WA0039021; and for Trout Springs Canyon Falls Hatchery - Permit No. WA0039268.

The permits authorize the discharge of wastewater associated with rearing ponds and raceways, incubation, and the offline settling basin to Clear Creek and Canyon Falls Creek.

View the draft permit and fact sheet for TroutCo Clear Creek Hatchery, view the draft permit and fact sheet for Trout Springs Canyon Falls Hatchery, or visit the Water Quality Permitting and Reporting Information System (PARIS) website.

We regulate wastewater released from municipalities and industries using the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Wastewater Discharge Permit. This permit regulates wastewater that goes directly into lakes, rivers, Puget Sound, or the ocean (surface water).  All wastewater must be treated before it goes into surface water to protect human health and aquatic life.  Learn more about water quality individual permits.
