If your organization is working to improve streamflow and aquatic resources in your watershed, you may qualify for our competitive grants.
We invite you to attend an online workshop to learn more about the grants. We will begin with a presentation about the process and purpose of the grants, after which we will answer questions. We want to help applicants understand how to be successful during the application process.
This workshop is from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Please visit the Streamflow restoration competitive grants webpage for more details on application requirements and scheduled online workshops.
We will accept grant applications from Nov. 2, 2021 through Feb. 1, 2022. We will award up to $40 million in competitive grants to implement local watershed plans and projects to improve streamflow and aquatic resources. The grant is available to state and local agencies, tribal governments, and non-profit organizations.
Funding is available statewide, but priority will be given to projects in watersheds specified in the Streamflow Restoration law (RCW 90.94), in an adopted watershed plan, or through a rulemaking process. Please visit the Streamflow Restoration page to learn more about the law and how we are working on implementation.
