In consideration of public health and safety, we have moved this meeting to an online format. We will reassess as needed and communicate any changes in the schedule. We appreciate your flexibility.

This is a meeting of the Watershed Restoration and Enhancement Committee for WRIA 14 (Kennedy-Goldsborough).

This committee meeting is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Please visit the committee page for the agenda, meeting notes, and materials, or previous meeting materials.

Background

In January 2018, the Legislature passed the Streamflow Restoration law (Chapter 90.94 RCW) to help restore streamflow levels. Its purpose is to support robust, healthy, and sustainable salmon populations while providing water for homes in rural Washington.

Specifically, the law directs Ecology to convene Watershed Restoration and Enhancement Committees in eight watersheds surrounding Puget Sound. Each of these committees will develop a watershed restoration and enhancement plan (watershed plan).

Learn more about streamflow restoration:  the law and how we are working on implementation.
