Applicant workshop – Lacey

Streamflow Restoration Competitive Grants

Nov. 1, 2019, 9 a.m.

If your organization is working to improve streamflow and aquatic resources in your watershed, you may qualify for our completive grants.

The goal of this workshop is to inform potential grant applicants about the process and purpose of the grants.  We want to help applicants understand how to be successful during the application process.

There is no registration required. We encourage you to carpool.

Visit the Streamflow restoration competitive grants webpage for more information.

We plan to begin accepting applications in early 2020 for a competitive round of grants that will provide up to $30 million for projects. We are holding a series of workshops across the state to inform potential grant applicants about the process and purpose of the grants. More details about application requirements can be found on our Streamflow restoration competitive grants webpage.

The grants will help state and local agencies, tribal governments, and non-profit organizations, implement local plans and projects to improve streamflow and aquatic resources.

Funding is available statewide, but priority is given to watersheds and areas specified in Streamflow Restoration (RCW 90.94). The law invests $300 million over the next 15 years in projects that will help fish and streamflows. Visit the Streamflow Restoration page to learn more about the law and how we are working on implementation.
