Chapters 173-98 and 173-95A WAC

Public Involvement

The CWSRF and Centennial programs provide funding to public bodies, including:

  • Counties, cities, and towns
  • Water districts and sewer districts
  • Port districts
  • Conservation districts
  • Irrigation districts
  • Quasi-municipal corporations
  • Federally recognized tribes
  • Washington State institutions of higher education if the project is not included in the institution's statutory responsibilities

This rulemaking may impact these public bodies. The “housekeeping” and “clarification” changes under consideration would make it easier to understand the rule. The “flexibility” and “additional funding opportunities” changes under consideration would impact potential recipients positively. Currently, there are no revisions under consideration that we think might negatively impact potential recipients.
