Chapter 173-430 WAC

On April 12, 2019, Ecology amended Chapter 173-430 WAC, Agricultural Burning.  This rule implements the agricultural burning program in Washington.

Changes include:
  • Revise the rule to address inadequacies raised in the October 24, 2016 Washington State Auditor’s Office letter.
  • Incorporate the existing agriculture burning fee schedule and permit fee distribution into this rule to avoid confusion.
  • Make updates, technical clarifications, correct errors, and improve readability.
