Roy Shoreline Master Program: Periodic Review

Ecology and the City of Roy are holding a joint public comment period and public hearing on the city's Shoreline Master Program (SMP).

  • Public comment period opens May 19, 2018, and culminates with a public hearing at 6 p.m. on June 19, 2018, at Roy City Hall, where the public may also give comments.

We're seeking public comments on Roy's required periodic review of its Shoreline Master Program (SMP) using the optional joint review process under WAC 173-26-104

The city's SMP periodic review proposes to make minor changes to provisions regarding the substantial development cost threshold, Americans with Disabilities Act-retrofit permit exemption, definitions, local review and permit filing procedures, nonconforming use and development, and transportation project review.
