Ecology’s tentative approval of the WARM System NOI

Ecology is holding a 45-day public comment period addressing its tentative approval of the siting compliance demonstration provided in the Notice of Intent (NOI) for the West Area Risk Management (WARM) System submitted by the U.S. Department of Energy. The Hanford Site is in southeastern Washington.

This public comment period relates to the proposed construction and operation of the WARM System in the 200 West Area of the Hanford Site to pretreat tank waste for solidification and offsite disposal.
