The Clean Energy Siting Council invites you to provide feedback on a draft Environmental Justice Toolkit for Clean Energy Projects. It is now available for public review:
Background
The Clean Energy Siting Council is comprised of 13 state agencies. It meets monthly to identify policy-level issues, coordinate among agencies, and discuss options for improving permitting processes. The council does not make decisions on specific projects. Instead, it is a coordination council and develops annual legislative reports with recommendations. As part of its ongoing efforts to support environmental justice in clean energy development, the council is developing a Clean Energy Environmental Justice Toolkit to help advance equitable, community‑centered practices across Washington.
