Mercury lights product stewardship plan

We invite you to comment on a draft product stewardship plan for mercury lights and appendix, submitted by Mercury Lamp Recyclers Association (MLRA). The Department of Ecology has conditionally approved a stewardship plan from MLRA. The Department of Ecology invites the public to review and comment on the plan. The comment period will run June 26, 2026 – July 26, 2026.

LightRecycle is a free-to-use program for individuals and businesses to recycle certain quantities of fluorescent and other mercury-containing lights bought at retail in Washington.
