We invite you to comment on the Draft Permit No. WA0041106

The permit allows Motive Power Marine LLC to send the discharge of stormwater discharged from industrial uncontained areas (Outfall 002), and incidental discharges from the marine ramp, and upland containment area during vessel repair operations and ship deconstruction to surface receiving waters from Motive Power Marine LLC to Inner Commencement Bay. Background

We regulate wastewater released from municipalities and industries using the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Wastewater Discharge Permit. This permit regulates wastewater that goes directly into lakes, rivers, Puget Sound, or the ocean (surface water). All wastewater must be treated before it goes into surface water to protect human health and aquatic life.
