Port of Moses Lake Draft Permit

Wastewater Discharge Permit - State Waste Discharge Permit

We invite your comments on draft State Waste Discharge permit ST0008063 being reissued to the Port of Moses Lake located in Grant County.  The permit authorizes the discharge of industrial wastewater collection and treatment system that collects process wastewater from several industrial users, stores teh wastewater in a series of three lined ponds and seasonally applies wastewater to a 248-acre land treatmenst system.

We regulate wastewater released from municipalities or industries using the State Waste Discharge Permit. This permit regulates wastewater that goes into the ground (groundwater) or to a publicly owned treatment works (POTWs).  Learn more about water quality individual permits.
