March 13, 2025, 2 p.m. PT, Online Webinar

We invite you to attend this webinar on the Triennial Review of Washington's surface water quality Standards.

During this informational webinar, Ecology will make a presentation and take your comments. We are not taking formal comments during this event.

During the presentation, we will go over:

  • The Triennial Review Process
  • Key actions in our draft workplan
  • How to comment

After the presentation, we will open it up for questions.

Background

We are conducting a Triennial Review of Washington surface water quality standards (Chapter 173-201A WAC) with comment period lasting until April 15, 2025. During this review, we are accepting feedback on any changes we should consider to the water quality standards for Washington and our draft work plan for the next three years. We will hold a an informational session and public hearing to talk about our draft plan and listen to your feedback.

View our water quality standards webpage for more information.

Section 303(c)(1) of the federal Clean Water Act requires we regularly hold public hearings to review state water quality standards and, as appropriate, adopt new or modified standards. The Triennial Review is not a rulemaking, instead this effort helps inform what rulemakings and other actions we should consider for the next three years.
