Determining irrigation efficiency

Join this information session where we'll talk through the proposed updates and answer questions.

Ecology’s Water Resources Program is updating its irrigation efficiency guidance and related documents to reflect best available science. The proposed updates would help Ecology staff request and use best available science and information when reviewing applications. They will support more accurate determinations of irrigation efficiency to ensure accurate and wise water use in Washington state.

GUID-1210: Draft Guidance: Determining Irrigation Efficiency and Consumptive Use

POL-1210: Draft Evaluation of Changes to Enable Irrigation of Additional Acreage or the Addition of New Purposes of Use to Existing Water Rights Policy and Interpretive Statement
