The Dam Safety Office (DSO) seeks comment on an updated Dam Safety Policy and Interpretive Statement.

The updated policy consolidates several existing Dam Safety Office policy statements and longstanding program practices into a single document. The intent of the update is to provide clearer guidance to dam owners, engineers, consultants, and agency staff regarding how the department interprets and applies existing statutes and rules.
