Do Something Grande for the Environment

Reduce waste and save money by remembering your reusable cup.

We get it, coffee is essential to life. But you know what’s not essential? The 50 billion single-use coffee cups that go to waste every year. To help (and maybe win some free drinks), commit to bringing your own cup to one of the shops on the map below.

Where to Bring Your Own Cup

Check out the businesses in your neighborhood that are excited to welcome you and your reusable cup…and may even offer a discount for doing so.

All Starbucks locations in the U.S. and Canada provide a $0.10 discount and 25 stars for bringing a reusable cup.

Reuse. Refill. Repeat.

Regularly using your reusable cup translates into all kinds of good stuff…

Improve the environment

Prevent waste and the environmental impacts of creating and managing that waste.

Avoid single-use items

Fewer single-use items means less of an opportunity for those items to become litter along our roadways and in our rivers and oceans.

Save Money

Enjoy discounts offered by your favorite coffee shops and cafes every time you bring your own cup.

Keep your drinks hotter (or colder)

Your coffee tumbler or thermos will almost certainly keep your drink better insulated compared to a single-use coffee cup.

Avoid Microplastics

Protect your body from the microplastics that make their way from the cup into your drink. (Even hot coffee cups have a thin layer of plastic on the inside.) We don’t yet fully understand their impacts
on the body.
