Plas Newydd LLC proposes to establish and operate a wetland bank in Clark County.
Plas Newydd LLC is proposing the establishment of the Wapato Valley Mitigation and Conservation Bank. This 335-acre site is located within the Lewis watershed near the confluence of the Lewis and Columbia rivers, northwest of the city limits of Ridgefield, WA in Clark County. The proposal includes re-establishment, rehabilitation, enhancement, and preservation of wetlands. The site also proposes to restore and create riparian habitat as well as off-channel rearing and refuge habitat; and preserve and enhance other wildlife habitat.
