Copy fee schedule for public records
Under RCW 42.56.120(2), we are allowed to recover costs directly related to the copying of public records. We cannot charge a fee for inspection of records, or staff time spent on locating records or retrieval of agency records. We are not allowed to make a profit from copy fees.
List of copy fees
If copy fees are less than $25.00, there is no charge. A 10 percent deposit may be required per RCW 42.56.120.| Requested type | Fee |

Note: Actual costs incurred by the agency might include sales tax (for example, Kinko's, photographs, videos, etc.).
