Chemicals of high concern to children (CHCC)
Children's product manufacturers are required to report each year if their products contain Chemicals of High Concern to Children (CHCC list) (WAC 173-334-130) under the Children's Safe Products Reporting Rule.
- Some of these chemicals are restricted chemicals.
- If a children’s product exceeds the limits on a restricted chemical, manufacturers cannot offer that product for sale in Washington.

Lead is not on the CHCC list, but lead is restricted. However, it is not reportable.
