Cancellation of coverage under air quality general order – Opportunity to request a public comment period

June 4, 2025, 12 a.m. - June 20, 2025, 11:59 p.m. PT

We propose to cancel (rescind) Advantage Dirt Contractors' coverage under an air quality general order for rock crushers. We will hold a public comment period if one is requested.

Advantage Dirt Contractors submitted a closure report for two portable rock crushers in East Wenatchee. We plan to cancel (rescind) its coverage under the air quality general order for rock crushers.

We determined this proposal satisfies the requirements of Chapter 173-400 WAC. We plan to cancel the approval order. We will hold a public comment period on a draft cancelled air permit ("rescission order") that includes this change if we receive a written request by June 20, 2025.

To request a public comment period, use one of the ways listed below.

To find out if there are more records for this project, contact our Public Records Office.

Background

An air quality general order is a group permit that simplifies the air permitting process. When several sources of air pollution are similar, we can issue a “general order” for all the sources, rather than a series of individual permits.
