Britton Excavating, portable rock crusher

Air quality application for general order coverage – Opportunity to request a public comment period

Oct. 17, 2024, 12 a.m. - Nov. 1, 2024, 11:59 p.m.

We propose to approve Britton Excavating’s air quality general order application for a portable rock crusher. We will hold a public comment period if one is requested.

Britton Excavating applied for coverage under the general order to operate a portable rock crusher.

Document for review

If we determine this proposal meets the requirements of Chapter 173-400 WAC, then we plan to approve the application. We will hold a public comment period on a draft air permit ("approval order") that includes this change if we receive a written request by November 1, 2024.

To request a public comment period, use one of the ways listed below.

To find out if there are more records for this project, contact our Public Records Office.

This notice was posted on October 17, 2024.

Background

An air quality general order is a group permit that simplifies the air permitting process. When several sources of air pollution are similar, we can issue a “general order” for all the sources, rather than a series of individual permits.
