We propose to approve Interstate Concrete & Asphalt American Rock Products' air quality general order application for a portable rock crusher. We will hold a public comment period if one is requested.
Interstate Concrete & Asphalt (dba) American Rock Products applied for coverage under the general order to operate its portable rock crushers. American Rock Products agreed to meet the requirements of the general order for a portable rock crusher.

We determined this proposal satisfies the requirements of Chapter 173-400 WAC. We plan to approve the application. We will hold a public comment period on a draft air permit ("approval order") that includes this change if we receive a written request by August 6, 2024.

Background
An air quality general order is a group permit that simplifies the air permitting process. When several sources of air pollution are similar, we can issue a “general order” for all the sources, rather than a series of individual permits.
