Monthly committee meeting
Natural Resource Damage Assessment (RDA) Committee
Dec. 11, 2024, 9 a.m., Lacey, WA and Online webinar
The Washington Natural Resource Damage Assessment (RDA) Committee meets monthly to determine the most appropriate method for assessing environmental injury from oil spills into state waters.
The RDA Committee, which is chaired by Ecology, includes representatives of the state departments of Fish and Wildlife, Natural Resources, Health, Archaeology and Historic Preservation, and the Parks and Recreation Commission. This committee meets monthly to conduct preassessment screenings for oil spills into state waters, make decisions regarding the most appropriate damage assessment to pursue for oil spills in state waters, and evaluate restoration projects proposed by responsible parties in lieu of monetary damage claims. Please see the committee page for the agenda and links to presentations and meeting materials.
Meetings for January through December 2024 will be held on the second Wednesday of each month, and start at 9 a.m.
