WCC AmeriCorps member positions

Build your path to the future!

Immerse yourself in outdoor environmental projects and cultivate connection to the Northwest, your teammates, and the unique ecological features that define our region.

The Washington Conservation Corps (WCC) is an AmeriCorps program that supports young adults (ages 18-25) and military veterans as they jumpstart their careers in the environmental field. We support more than 350 AmeriCorps members and experienced staff statewide who restore critical habitat, build recreational trails, and respond to local and national disasters.

Most of our AmeriCorps positions are 11-month field-crew positions where members serve on a crew of five, led by a WCC crew supervisor. We offer limited nine-month positions in the winter and three-month positions in the spring. We also offer 11-month Individual Placement positions, where members serve independently with natural resources organizations.

All members earn a biweekly living allowance and an AmeriCorps Education Award once they successfully complete a term.
