Pump which is used to transfer waste oil to from a large storage tank to a smaller tank was left running. As a result the smaller tank overflowed, the waste oil spilled across a meadow and consequently into a tributary which enters Lincoln creek.

The pump was shut off, and booms were put in place to reduce impact from the oil.
