Summary Statement / Investigation Report

7,200 gallons of crude oil released in Puget Sound was eventually traced back to the Polar Texas, owned and operated by Conoco-Phillips.

U.S. Coast Guard and Ecology contractors conducted a cleanup of oil on water and impacted shorelines.
