Public works projects and architecture/engineering contracts

We hire architecture and engineering (A/E) services and general contractors for public works projects. These public work projects are toxic site cleanups initiated by Ecology under the Model Toxics Control Act. They are managed by our Toxics Cleanup Program.

We post all bidding opportunities in the Washington State Business Solution (WEBS). However, the WEBS system doesn't support all the document file types and sizes related to this kind of work, so we store supplemental materials in box.com. You do not need an account to access box.com, but you do need to be registered to access WEBS.

Architectural & engineering services

We hire architectural and engineering (A/E) services to support Ecology-initiated cleanups. Architecture and engineering services fall under RCW 39.80 (Contracts for Architectural and Engineering Services).
