Operators commonly meet their professional growth by earning 3.0 continuing education units (CEUs) each professional growth cycle. Operators earn these CEUs by attending approved training courses. Operators must document their CEUs and submit it to the OpCert Program as they receive it. This ensures that they stay current on their requirements. The OpCert Program Coordinator reviews training courses to ensure that all training meets the ABC CEU Relevancy Criteria for wastewater operators. Trainers must seek authorization to give CEUs to operators for their courses.
You can view your professional growth transcripts anytime by logging into SecureAccess Washington (SAW).
Or, you can call the OpCert office at 360-407-6889.
As you receive your professional growth documents, email or send hard copies of them to the OpCert Program. Email opcert@ecy.wa.gov Fax 360-407-6426 Mail Department of Ecology Wastewater Operator Certification PO Box 47696 Olympia, WA 98504-7696
