ALERT: All Ecology offices are currently closed to walk-in service. Find out more about our operations on Ecology's COVID-19 response page. Also see the Washington state coronavirus.wa.gov page.
Cleaning up contaminated sites is a key part of our source control efforts. Source control means finding the sources and extent of contamination, then stopping or reducing them before they reach the Lower Duwamish Waterway (LDW).
We manage cleanup of many contaminated sites within the LDW drainage area and are working to add more sites to the list.
