Distributors and retailers are responsible for understanding and complying with the Toxic-Free Cosmetics Act (TFCA). This law covers all beauty and personal care products manufactured, distributed, and sold in Washington state. At this webinar, we will cover:
- Restrictions in the law that took effect Jan. 1, 2025.
- The one-year product sell-through period ending Dec. 31, 2025.
- Upcoming restrictions on formaldehyde releasers.
- Interim restrictions on lead impurities.
- How to engage to help shape future restrictions on lead impurities.
- Our compliance and enforcement process.
- How you can support compliance through your supply chain.
