Learn about the Drayton Harbor draft water quality improvement plan now available for comment.

During the workshop, we will explain the background and purpose of the draft Drayton Harbor TMDL, outline important ways that people can help improve elevated bacteria levels, and answer questions about what this plan means for Drayton Harbor, for you, and for your community.

The workshop will include a presentation followed by a question and answer session. Please register ahead of time for the meeting by using the below link.

The federal Clean Water Act requires states to develop a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) — or water quality improvement project — plan for each water body on the state's polluted waters list, also known as the 303(d) list. This science-based approach assigns a numerical value that represents the highest amount of a pollutant a surface water body can receive and still meet the water quality standards.
