As a research team, we're committed to developing a model capable of providing the most informative risk assessment possible, given the data and knowledge that is available, and within the modeling framework that we've selected. We're also committed to developing the modules in an open and transparent way, using sound methodology, and documenting our work.
This documentation page will provide access to information on our past outreach events, and documentation of our modeling work. For each module, we'll produce focus sheets for components of that module that require additional feedback and discussion. In addition, we'll produce a comprehensive document that describes the attributes and performance of each module and make drafts available on this page for feedback.

Through conversations and presentations, we hope to build a shared understanding of the mathematical and analytical backbone of the model. As we establish the various components of the model, we will need input to assure that the model is successfully reflecting the functioning of the waterway.
One of the reasons that we have framed this work as a series of modules is to allow for involvement in an organized and linear fashion. We have allotted time over the course of model development to individually discuss in depth each modules, and get feedback on how best to solve the challenges that we will face as we work on them.
