Get involved at Padilla Bay

Would you like to join our community of volunteers? We offer many opportunities to support the mission and work of the Padilla Bay Reserve.

Padilla Bay interns and volunteers

The non-profit Padilla Bay Foundation offers student internships for research in the bay, as well as many volunteer opportunities. Volunteers help with education programs, assist researchers, work on restoration projects, and greet visitors in the interpretive center and aquariums.

AmeriCorps/Washington Conservation Corps members

Padilla Bay Reserve offers two AmeriCorps positions with Washington Conservation Corps, one with the research program and one in education.

Skagit Stream Team

Volunteers with Skagit Stream Team monitor the water quality of streams and rivers in Skagit County. Padilla Bay has partnered with the Skagit Conservation district to coordinate this important effort.
