School and park cleanups on former orchard lands
We funded cleanup of 26 schools and two parks built on former orchard lands. Lead-arsenate pesticides were historically used in orchards, which contaminated the soil with lead and arsenic. To learn more about each cleanup project, click the site name from the list below.
