2025 Washington Brownfields Conference – Day Two
Workshops, sessions, tour, and networking

Join community leaders and brownfield professionals at this two-day conference. Get strategies for redeveloping vacant or underutilized properties that may be contaminated, and learn how to turn them into gems like affordable housing, retail, and parks.

Content is geared for local governments, Tribes, nonprofits, and community organizations, as well as private sector entities such as real estate developers and environmental consultants, who want to clean up and redevelop brownfields for the public's benefit. Network with peers and learn basic and advanced information about brownfields including funding and technical resources, how to navigate cleanups and redevelopment, case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.

Sessions include navigating risk in redevelopment, cleanups in rural communities, how to analyze return on investment, how to engage communities, and why storytelling matters. -
