Community Litter Cleanup Program (CLCP)
The Community Litter Cleanup Program (CLCP) provides local governments with funding for litter pickup, illegal dump cleanup, and litter prevention education.
Funding cycle
- Amount of funding available: $4 million for the 2023–2025 biennium
- Grant award limit: Formula funding based on geographic and demographic factors, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Amount of matching funds required: No matching funds are required.
Applications are not being accepted at this time.
Application period opens February 4, 2025, at 8 a.m., and closes March 4, 2025, at 5 p.m.
Funding is available for the following entities:
County solid waste planning authorities responsible for developing local comprehensive solid waste management plans or designated local government agency
- Litter pickup
- Illegal dump cleanup
- Litter prevention education
